Senior Plumbing and Fire Protection Designer
James Wachter, Jr has liked the challenge of designing complex building since his first architectural class in high school. Building on that experience, Jim’s interest in architecture led him to winning awards, in high school, for his building design. From there, Jim went on to study mechanical engineering and spent the next 30 years growing his MEP skills at five multi-disciplinary engineering firms. As a senior plumbing and fire protection designer at BSEG, he brings his 30+ years of experience and his like of putting complex things together while working and communicating closely with clients.
Jim likes to spend time with family and friends and helps take care of others. He’s been a member of ASPE for the last 20 years.
